Gone are the days of partying with your college friends and making trips to Mexico for spring break. But the days of enjoying Southern vacations don’t have to be over. Finding a Los Cabos golf resort could just be the next scheme you can plot in order to convince your significant other to let you spend a week in paradise. The white-sanded beaches and peerless nightlife aren’t the only thing the famous Baja province has to offer, as the sports and recreational scenes have been booming since the 80s. World-class courses now adorn the coastline up and down the Southern California peninsula, and depending on when you plan on making your trip, the price can be phenomenal. Plus, convincing your spouse can be as easy as showcasing the many great restaurants and shopping that fill the streets of tourist-friendly locales.

Los Cabos is more than just San Lucas. In fact, aside from the famous Tourist Corridor cluttered with resorts and cut-rate hotels, there are plenty of more low-key areas that cater to the older travelers. After all, if you’re putting the money down to spend a week in Mexico, why would you want to do in a hotel that’s chalked full of little kids and drunken college students? Finding a great course means also finding comfortable lodgings nearby, as well as being sure there are good places to eat. Going off the beaten track by finding a resort that doesn’t have a brand name might just be the change of pace needed to have a great time in Los Cabos.
